Martha?s passion for quilting started when her grandmother left her a Sunbonnet Sue quilt top. Martha knew she needed to learn to quilt in order to finish the top. Her quilting mentor taught her everything about piecing a quilt and hand-quilting. Since Martha lives in Fast Mode, she needed to learn how to quilt by machine. She started on a domestic machine and worked her way up to a longarm machine.
Martha opened her own quilting business in 2014 and hasn?t looked back. She is a well-rounded quilter and has won ribbons at local quilt shows, the Indiana State Fair, and the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show. She loves to make a quilt come alive with her quilting?no two quilts are quilted alike. Martha currently quilts on her Handi Quilter Fusion and loves spreading her enthusiasm and joy to other quilters to inspire them to break the rules and create their own style.
